About Julia

Julia Sundby af Robson is a visual artist, born in Stockholm in 1989 and active in her studio just outside Kristinehamn. Her painting is colorful and narrative, often populated by animals, flowers, and patterns drawn from folk art and nature's design language.

In addition to her own painting, Julia has a broad artistic and academic background: a Master of Arts degree in Art History from Uppsala University, artistic training from, among others, Falkenbergs konstskola, ArtLab and Berghs School of Communication, as well as ongoing studies in botanical illustration at the University of Gothenburg.
